CHAPTER 90
(Senate Bill 109)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 21 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Conveyancing", sub-title "Con-
veyancing in General", said new section to be known as Section
2A, to follow immediately after Section 2 of said Article, author-
izing a married female over eighteen years of age WHO HAS
ATTAINED THE AGE OF SIXTEEN YEARS AND who holds
title to property with her husband as tenants by the entireties to
join with her husband in an instrument of conveyancing in the
same manner and with the same effect as a person of the age of
twenty-one years.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 21 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Conveyancing",
sub-title "Conveyancing in General", said new section to be known
as Section 2A, to follow immediately after Section 2 of said Article,
and to read as follows:
2A. Any married female over eighteen years of age WHO HAS
ATTAINED THE AGE OF SIXTEEN YEARS AND who holds
title to property with her husband as tenants by the entireties is
hereby authorized to join with her husband in an instrument of
conveyancing, either a deed or a mortgage, in the same manner, to
the same extent and with the same effect as a person of the full age
of twenty-one years.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 491 of
Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title
"Crimes and Punishments", sub-title "Minors—Selling Deadly
Weapons To", relating to the selling7 hunting or giving away of
firearms to minors.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 491 of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1951 Edition), title "Crimes and Punishments", sub-title "Minors—
Selling Deadly Weapons To", be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
