Taxes", sub-title "State Tax Commission", said new subsection
to be known as subsection (g) and to follow immediately after
subsection (f) thereof, relating to the designation of one of the
county assessors in Prince George's County as field supervisor.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new sub-section be and it is hereby added to Section 235 of
Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title
"Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "State Tax Commission", said new
sub-section to be known as sub-section (g) and to follow immediately
after sub-section (f) thereof, and to read as follows:
285 (g). The County Commissioners of Prince George's County
may upon recommendation of the Supervisor of Assessments of said
County designate one of the County assessors as field supervisor and
the said County Commissioners may levy and pay such additional
sum in excess of the amounts hereinabove prescribed to the assessors
of said County as in their discretion they shall determine, not to
exceed $5,200.00, provided, however, that the portion of said salaries
to be paid by the State shall be limited to the amounts as prescribed
in the schedules hereinbefore set forth.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

AN ACT to add six new sections to Article 27 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Crimes and Punishments", to
be known as Sections 516A to 516F, inclusive, to follow immedi-
ately after Section 516 of said Article, to be under the new sub-
title "Prohibited Sales", relating to the sale and distribution to
minors of crime books, of indecent publications or of indecent
articles, prohibiting certain tie-in sales, and providing penalties
for the violations of said new sections.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That six new sections be and they are hereby added to Article 27
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (191 Edition), title "Crimes
and Punishments", to be know as Sections 516A to 516F, inclusive,
to follow immediately after Section 516 of said Article, to be under
the new sub-title "Prohibited Sales", and to read as follows:
