118A 118B. (Frederick County.) In Frederick County no manu-
facturer or wholesaler shall sell any beer to any retail dealer except
for cash on delivery. No suit or action ex contractu to enforce or
collect any claim for credit extended in violation of this section shall
be maintained in this State.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

CHAPTER 712
(House Bill 880)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-section (a)
of Section 22 of Article 51 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1951 Edition), title "Juries", sub-title "Qualification and Selec-
tion of Jurors", relating to the compensation of jurors in Dor-
chester County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sub-section (a) of Section 22 of Article 51 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Juries", sub-title "Qualifica-
tion and Selection of Jurors", be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
22.
(a) Jurors in Anne Arundel and Washington Counties shall re-
ceive Six Dollars per day, in Dorchester County, Seven Dollars and
Fifty Cents per day and in all other counties, except Allegany County,
Five Dollars per day for each and every day they shall attend the
several courts of this State and Fifteen Cents for each mile over five
miles for going to and returning from the court, once in each term,
to be paid by the Counties, respectively, in which courts are held.
Jurors in Baltimore City shall receive such compensation as shall be
provided in the Ordinance of Estimates of said City each year.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.
