1072                             LAWS OF MARYLAND                        [CH. 645

Local Laws of Prince George's County (1953 Edition, being Article
17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Prince
George's County", sub-title "County Commissioners", to be known
as Section 464B, to follow immediately after Section 464A of said
Code, and to read as follows:

464B. All agencies and organizations, except incorporated mu-
nicipalities and bi-county Commissions for which other provision is
made by law, that receive County funds shall file a report with the
County Commissioners, semi-annually, showing a financial statement
of such agency or organization listing the County funds received and
the expenditure thereof; and the County Commissioners shall publish
such report, or a consolidation of such reports, to the extent that they
may deem proper.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby declared
to be an emergency measure and necessary for the immediate pres-
ervation of the public health and safety and having been passed by
a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths of all the members
elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 645
(House Bill 331)

AN ACT to add a new section to the Code of Public Local Laws of
Anne Arundel County (1947 Edition), being Article 2 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Anne Arundel County",
sub-title "County Commissioners", said new section to be known
as Section 243B and to follow immediately after Section 243A
thereof, said section having been enacted by Chapter 418 of the
Acts of 1951, and to be under the new sub-heading "Special Zones
—Advances", conferring powers upon the County Commissioners
of Anne Arundel County to advance funds to special taxing dis-
tricts under certain conditions.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to the Code of Public
Local Laws of Anne Arundel County (1947 Edition), being Article 2
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Anne Arundel
County", said new section to be known as Section 243B and to follow
immediately after Section 243A thereof, said section having been
enacted by Chapter 418 of the Acts of 1951, and to be under the new
sub-heading "Special Zones—Advances", and to read as follows:

hereby authorized and empowered when acting as a District Council
