Peddlers", to follow immediately after Section 19 thereof, extend-
ing the provisions of the hawkers and peddlers laws to sales of
certain articles and things in St. Mary's County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 19A be and it is hereby added to Article 56 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Licenses", sub-title
"Hawkers and Peddlers", said new section to follow immediately
after Section 19 thereof, and to read as follows:

19A. In St. Mary's County, the provisions of this sub-title shall
be applicable to hawkers and peddlers, who are non residents of the
County, and who use or sell from a motor vehicle or any temporary
stand or temporary location, goods, wares and merchandise including
but not by way of limitation furniture, clothing, implements, tools
and any tangible personal property of whatever kind.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 10 of
Article 78A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition),
title "Public Works", relating to the disposition of the funds
derived from the sale of capital assets of the State.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 10 of Article 78A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1951 Edition), title "Public Works", be and it is hereby repealed,
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

10. Any real or personal property of the State of Maryland or of
any board, commission, department or agency thereof, and any legal
or equitable rights, interests, privileges or easements in, to, or over
the same, may be sold, leased, transferred, exchanged, granted or
otherwise disposed of to any person, firm, corporation, or to the
United States, or any agency thereof, or to any board, commission,
department or other agency of the State of Maryland for a con-
sideration adequate in the opinion of the Board of Public Works,
or to any County or municipality in the State subject to such condi-
tions as the Board of Public Works may impose. If said real or
personal property of the State of Maryland, disposed of hereunder,
or any legal or equitable rights, interests, privileges or easements
in, to, or over the same is under the jurisdiction or control of any
board, commission, department or other agency of the State, the
