by resolution of the County Commissioners of Wicomico County
under the powers granted in this sub-title shall be guilty of a mis-
demeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be subject to a fine not
exceeding One Thousand Dollars (1,000.00) or to imprisonment not
exceeding six (6) months or both such fine and imprisonment.
230D. It is expressly provided that all taxes or other money
collected under the aforegoing provisions of this sub-title shall be
used by the County Commissioners of Wicomico County for the
purpose of constructing school buildings in said County and/or the
retirement of bonded indebtedness incurred by said County in the
construction of public schools and for no other use or purpose
whatsoever.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

CHAPTER 618
(Senate Bill 602)
AN ACT to add new Section 99A to Article 5 of the Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Calvert County", sub-title
"County Treasurer", to follow immediately after Section 99
thereof, providing that the County Commissioners of Calvert
County may exempt from taxation the plant and equipment of
certain new businesses in said County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new Section 99A be and it is hereby added to Article 5 of the
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Calvert
County", sub-title "County Treasurer", to follow immediately after
Section 99 thereof, and to read as follows:
99A. The County Commissioners of Calvert County may exempt
from taxation in Calvert County for a period of ten (10) years the
plant and equipment of any manufacturing business or industry
established in said county after June 1,1955.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.
