OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE OF MARYLAND
To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:
I, CLAUDE B. HELLMANN, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section 210 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition) DO
HEREBY CERTIFY, That at an Election held in Glenarden, Prince
George's County, Maryland, on Monday, May 2, 1955, an Act known
as Chapter 164 of the Acts of 1955, was submitted to the voters of
Glenarden, Prince George's County, Maryland, for their adoption or
rejection under the provisions of Chapter 164 of the Acts of 1955,
said Act being as follows:
"The Mayor and Common Council shall have power to levy on
or before the 1st Monday in June each year, the tax year com-
mencing on the first day of July, a tax not to exceed fifty cents
per $100 assessed value based upon the State and county as-
sessments on all real and personal property as the needs of
the town may require.
AND I DO CERTIFY, that at said election held in Glenarden, Prince
George's County, Maryland, 66 votes were cast in favor of the adop-
tion of Chapter 164 of the Acts of 1955 and 34 votes were cast against
the adoption of said Chapter 164; and a majority of the votes being
cast in favor of the adoption of Chapter 164 of the Acts of 1955, the
said Act has been ratified by the voters of Glenarden, Prince George's
County, Maryland.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto subscribed my
name and affixed my official seal at the City of
