(d) In addition to all other fees and charges specified in this sec-
tion or elsewhere in this Article, there is hereby imposed upon every
public service company an annual filing fee in an amount equal to
one-twentieth of one percentum (1/20%) of the company's annual
gross receipts for the preceding year. The fee shall be payable on or
before April 1 in any year, with the computation being based upon
the gross receipts for the preceding calendar year. "Gross receipts"
shall apply only to the revenues from such types of utility business
and operations as are within the regulatory jurisdiction of the Com-
mission. The proceeds of the filing fees shall be accounted for
monthly into the general funds of the State Treasury.

Sec 2. And be it further enacted, That the filing fee herein
imposed shall first be due and payable on or before April 1, 1959,
with the computation being based upon the gross receipts for the
calendar year of 1958.

Sec 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1958.
