assessed, levied, collected and paid to Levin Carey,
by an act of Assembly passed at November session
eighteen, hundred and eleven entitled, "an act for
the relief of Levin Carey of Worcester county" be?
and the same is hereby directed to be assessed, levi-
ed, collected and paid to Levi Carey, instead of the
said Levin Carey, and that the same be assessed, le-
vied, collected and paid to the said Levi Carey in the
same manner as directed by the said act to be paid to
the said Levin Carey.

CHAPTER 10.

1812.

An Act far the benefit of John Pointer of Wor-
cester county.

Passed Nov.
14, 1812.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the, justices of the levy court of
Worcester county shall, and they are hereby directed
and empowered at their levy court annually, so long
as they shall see cause, to levy on the assessable pro-
perty of said county, a sum of money not exceeding
thirty dollars nor less than twenty dollars for the
support and maintenance of John Pointer of said
county; and the same when collected, shall be paid
by the collector of said county, to said John Pointer
or his order, for the purpose aforesaid.

CHAPTER 11.

Levy court to
assess said
money.

An Act to authorise and empower the Levy Court
of Anne-Arundel county to assess and levy a
sum of money for the support and maintenance
of Keziah Hughes.

Passed Nov.
14, 1812.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the levy court of Anne Arundel
county be, and they are hereby directed and empow-
ered, at their levy court annually, to assess and levy
on the assessable property of said county, a sum of
money not exceeding twenty dollars, for the support
and maintenance of the said Keziah Hughes, and
that the same be collected annually by the collector
or collectors of Anne-Arundel county, and paid to
the said Keziah Hughes or her order.
