river, within the jurisdiction of Maryland, and to protect the breed

173. An act authorising and empowering the county commis-
sioners of Queen Anne's county, to levy such sum of money as
in their judgment may be necessary, for the support of Philip H.
Potts, of said county, who is deaf and dumb, and of weak mind.

174. An act to authorise the Washington County Bank to estab-
lish an office of discount and deposit in Hagerstown, in Washington
county.

175. An act to incorporate the Baltimore and Elysville Rail
Road company.

176. An act to divide the school district number forty-four, in
Worcester county.

177. An act to alter and amend an act, entitled an act to incor-
porate the Eastern Shore Steamboat company, passed at January
session, eighteen hundred and fifty-two, chapter one hundred and
ninety.

178. An act to appropriate a sum of money for the support of
the Bladensburg Academy, in Prince George's county.

179. An act for the relief of Robert Wright, and sureties, former
collector of the first collection district of Prince George's county.

180. An act empowering the county commissioners of Carroll
county, and the county commissioners of Howard county, to levy
a sum of money to build a bridge over Patapsco Falls, at or near
Hood's Mill, on the Washington road.

181. An act for the relief of William H. Worthington, George
L. Stocket, Seth W. Warfield and John Warfield, of John, sure-
ties on the bond of Rinaldo W. Dorsey, deceased, collector of State
taxes of first collection district of Howard district, for the year eigh-
teen hundred and forty-nine, and to release them from the pay-
ment of the interest on the balance due thereon, from the first of
January, eighteen hundred and fifty.

182. An act to amend the act passed at December session,
eighteen hundred and forty-seven, chapter one hundred and ninety-
eight, entitled an additional supplement to the act entitled an act to
alter and change the name of Elizabeth town, in Washington
county, to Hagerstown, and to incorporate the same, so as to re-
quire the mayor of said town to give bond before he shall act as
mayor.

183. An act in addition to the act to authorise the removal of
causes depending in the Court of Chancery, passed at the session
of eighteen hundred and fifty-three, chapter one hundred and
twenty-three.
