Frank Key Murray, for their courageous and gallant
bearing during those trying scenes.
Resolved, That our Senators and Representatives in
Congress are requested to use their influence 10 procure
the passage of a law granting assistance to the widows
and families of the officers and soldiers who perished
during this distressing occasion.
Resolved, That his Excellency the Governor be re-
quested to transmit to each of the above named officers,
a copy of the foregoing resolutions, duly authenticated,
and to forward to our Senators and Representatives in
Congress, an authenticated copy of the last resolution.

Resolution authorising Thomas N. Queen, to withdraw
from the archives of the State certain papers.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Thomas N. Queen, be, and he is hereby author-
ised to withdraw from the archives of this State, the
papers belonging to Nathan Queen, a Revolutionary
pensioner.
