Baptist Churches and four directors from each white
Baptist Church in Baltimore, all of whom shall be cho-
sen annually and shall continue an executive commit-
tee; any member of a regular Baptist Church paying to
the society the sum of five hundred dollars at one time
shall be entitled to a seat in the said executive commit-
tee for life; that the said committee shall have power to
procure and disburse the funds; to make the necessary
contracts for building; to secure suitable locations for
churches or sabbaths schools and generally to carry out
the design of the society, they shall also act as trustees
and hold in trust all the property to be finally disposed
of by them only by direction of the society, they shall
be empowered to fill all vacancies which may occur in
their number and shall make a full report of their pro-
ceedings at each annual meeting of the society.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That until an annual
meeting of the said society shall have been held the
following persons or such others as may be chosen by
the executive committee to fill their places shall be the
officers of the said society, namely, Alexander D. Kelly,
Jr., president; Isaac Scribner, vice president; Franklin
Wilson, secretary; Melville Wilson, treasurer; directors
first Baptist Church, I. W. M. Williams, H. G. Fry,
Joseph B. Thomas, William H. Hamer; second Baptist
Church, George F. Adams, George Wolf, William
Wagner, W. M. Johnson; High Street Baptist Church
John Berg, William Crane, John W. Levens, Gurden
K. Tyler; seventh Baptist Church, Richard Fuller,
Alien A. Chapman, John W. Ball, Frederick A. Lever-
ing.
