CHAPTER 38.

AN ACT to authorise the Trustees of Primary School
District number thirty-three of the first election district
of Queen Anne's county, in their discretion to sell and
dispose of the old school house formerly in primary
school district number one, in first election district of
said county, and apply the proceeds to the building of
a new school house in school district number thirty-
three in first election district of said county.

Feb. 24, 1854.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Trustees of the primary school
district number thirty-three, in the first election district
of Queen Anne's county, be and they are hereby autho-
rised and directed in their discretion, to sell and dispose
of the old school house in primary school district num-
ber one, of the first election district of said county, either
for cash or upon a credit, as in the opinion of said Trus-
tees may be for the interest of said primary school dis-
trict number thirty-three, and the money arising from
said sale, shall be appropriated as is hereinafter directed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the money arising
from the sale of the old school house as directed by the
first section of this act to be sold, be and the same is
hereby appropriated to the building of a new school
house in primary school district number thirty-three, of
the first election district of said county, and the same
shall not be appropriated to any other purpose whatso-
ever.
