CHAPTER 312.

AN ACT to lay out and establish a new election dis-
trict in Somerset county, to be called district No.
thirteen or Sharptown district.
|
|
|
New district.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That a new election district be formed
and established and the same is hereby established in
Somerset county, out of part of the first election dis-
trict in said county to be called and known as Sharp-
town district or district No. thirteen.
|

|
Boundaries.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the boundaries of
said new election district shall be as follows to wit :
beginning at a place on the Nanticoke river, called
Bacon quarter, and running from thence by and with
the county road, from said place to Levin Wright's
dwelling house on said road, and from thence a due
east course until it intersects the Maryland and Dela-
ware line.

Place of hold-
ing election.
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the place of hold-
ing elections shall be Sharptown in the said district.

|
Rights & pri-
vileges.
|
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the inhabitants of
said district shall be in all respects entitled to all the
rights and privileges held or to be held and enjoyed by
the other election districts in said county.
