CHAPTER 301.
|
|
|
|
AN ACT to lay out and establish a new election district
in Prince George's county, to be called the ninth elec-
tion district.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That a new election district be formed
and established in Prince George's county, to be railed
and known as the ninth election district.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the boundaries of
said new election district shall be as follows, to wit :
beginning at a point on Piscataway branch at its inter-
section with the new cut road, and running up and with
said branch, until it intersects the Marlborough and
Piscataway road, thence with said road to a point where
a road leading to Centreville commences, thence with
the latter road to the Alexandria and Marborough road,
thence with the said road to Palmer's tavern, thence a
road to the Marlborough and Piscataway road, to a road
leading to Piscataway branch, thence with Piscataway
branch to the place of beginning.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the place of hold-
ing election for said district, shall be Surratt's hotel in
said district.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the inhabitants of
said district shall be in all respects entitled to all the
rights, liberties and privileges held or to be held, and
enjoyed by the other election districts in said county.
