LAWS OF MARYLAND.

General meet-
ing.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That a general meeting
of the stockholders shall be held as soon as the company
is organized, and thereafter at such times and places as
the said president and directors of said company may
determine.

Power to ne-
gotiate loan.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the said company
shall have power to negociate a loan upon its bonds, se-
cured by a mortgage of its property, but nothing herein
contained shall be construed to authorise the said corpo-
ration to issue any note, token or device to be used as
currency.

Reservation.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That the Legislature
reserves the right to alter, amend or repeal this act at
pleasure.

CHAPTER 269.

AN ACT to provide for the payment of costs in re-
moved cases.

Expenses to
be paid by the
county from
whence re-
moved.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the costs and expenses incident to
the trial of all actions, issues and presentments re-
moved from one county to another which are properly
chargeable to the county, be borne and paid by the
county from which the same are removed.

Account of
costs and ex-

penses.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the clerks
of the several courts to which such cases may be re-
moved shall make and keep a full and accurate ac-
count of the costs and expenses aforesaid, and shall cer-
tify and return the same as well to the county commis-
sioners for the county where said cases originated as to
the county commissioners for the county where the
same were tried, selling forth in said return the names
of the several parties to whom said costs and expenses
are due, the several amounts thereof and in what coun-
ty said parties respectively reside.
