CHAPTER 267.
|

|
|
AN ACT to pay to Elizabeth Rich a sum of money due
her mother, Priscilla Connelly.
|

WHEREAS, Priscilla Connelly, late of Worcester coun-
ty, deceased, was in her life time in receipt of a pen-
sion from the State of Maryland, on account of ser-
vices rendered by her husband, William Connelly, a
private in the war of the revolution, and at the time
of her death there was due the said Priscilla Con-
nelly a balance for one year, one month and ten
days; Therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Elizabeth Rich, the only surviving
child and representative of Priscilla Connelly, be, and
she is hereby entitled to receive the amount due her
said mother.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the treasurer of
Maryland, on the warrant of the comptroller, be, and
he is hereby directed to pay to Elizabeth Rich, or order,
the sum of forty-four dollars and forty-five cents, the
amount of pension due.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall be
in force from and after the date of its passage.
