Provisoes.

in their discretion, to sell and convey the interest of the
said county in the farm now occupied and owned for
the use of the poor; Provided, however, they shall sell
at public sale after having given at least three weeks
notice of the time, place and terms of sale, by adver-
tisement in all the newspapers published in said coun-
ty, and in handbills set up at the most public places,
and such other notice as the said trustees may deem
expedient; and provided also, that the said trustees
shall not convey the said real estate until the purchaser
or purchasers shall have paid the entire purchase mo-
ney.

Authorised to

Proviso.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said trustees
are hereby authorised to buy a new site, and erect new
buildings for the use of the poor of said county in any
style or manner they may deem most suitable to the
wants of the poor; Provided, the coat of the new loca-
tion, and the improvements erected thereon shall not
exceed the amount of sales of the farm hereby provided
to be sold, unless the concent of the commissioners of
said county be first had and obtained.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from and after its passage.

Steam Boat company of Nanticoke River.

Incorporated.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That Edward F. Smithes, Thomas
H. Webb, James A. Waddell, William Vickers, Joel
Cornwell, Thomas J. Ball, William Bacon, James R.
Donho, Isaac W. Robinson, William C. Huffington,
P. W. Henry, and Thomas A. Spence, and such
other persons as may, from time to time, become and
be possessed of stock in said company, their successors
and assigns, be and they are hereby incorporated by
