AN ACT to authorise the treasurer to pay to
Isaac Nesbitt certain commissions on monies collect-
ed and paid into the treasury by him, as clerk of the
Washington county court.
|

pay.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the comptroller of the treasury be,
and he is hereby authorised and directed to issue his
warrant to the treasurer, authorising and directing him
to pay out of any unappropriated funds in the treasury
to Isaac Nesbitt, late clerk of Washington county court,
and now clerk of the circuit court for Washington
county, the sum of one hundred and forty-three dollars
and fifty cents, due him as commissions on money col-
lected by him as clerk of the Washington county court,
and paid by him into the treasury in the year eighteen
hundred and fifty.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

of Caroline county, in establishing the compensation
or salaries for road supervisors.

|
WHEREAS, by the act of the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, passed at January session, eighteen hundred
and fifty-three, chapter three hundred, section six,
the county commissioners of the several counties in
this State were required to fix the compensation of
