SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That from and after the passage of this
act, the name of Richard Colvin Warford of the city
of Baltimore, be and the same is hereby changed to
Richard Colvin.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT, amendatory of the act, entitled an act, to limit
attachments in cases when laid in the hands of em-
ployers, passed at the session of eighteen hundred and
fifty-two, chapter three hundred and forty.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That no attachment of the wages
or hire of a laborer or other employee, in the hands of
the employers, whether private individuals or bodies
corporate, shall affect any salary or wages of the debtor,
which are not actually due at the date of the attach-
ment.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect on the first day of April next.
