Right to hold
property, &c.
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That said Philadelphia
and Baltimore Central rail road company hereby in-
corporated, shall hold, enjoy, occupy, and be entitled
to all the estate, real, personal and mixed, choses in
action, &c., belonging to, or due to the corporations
aforesaid, and may sue mid be sued, implead and be
impleaded, by the name and style of the Philadelphia
and Baltimore Central rail road company.

Shares.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the capital stock
of said company shall be in shares of fifty dollars each.

In force.
|
SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to incorporate the Charles Street Avenue
Company.
|

|
Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, it has been represented to this General As-
sembly, by many of the inhabitants of the ninth elec-
tion district of Baltimore county, and others, that ad-
ditional highways lending to the city are much, re-
quired for the public convenience in that part of the
county, and that an avenue leading from the present
termination of Charles street would greatly promote
that convenience; Therefore,

Incorporated.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That a company be incorporated to
make a Turnpike road from the present Northern ter-
mination of Charles street, in or neat the city of Balti-
more, to a point on the road known as the Powder
Mill road in Baltimore county, near to the powder ma-
gazine.
