LAWS OF MARYLAND:

Deed made
valid.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the said deed executed by the said
Joseph Wickes, Benjamin C. Wickes, Joseph A.
Wickes and Henrietta M. Bruff, to the said Isaac Par-
sons and Robert Nicholson, bearing date the twenty-
seven day of December, in the year eighteen hundred
and fifty, and acknowledged before the Honorable
Ezekiel F. Chambers, then chief judge of the second
judicial district of the State of Maryland, and conveying
to the said grantees, the said lands described in the
said last will and testament of the said Mary S. Thomas,
as her Worton farm, containing five hundred and eighty-
nine acres, and described by course and distance in said
deed, be, and the same is hereby made as valid and effec-
tual in law, to convey to the said grantees as tenants in
common, and their heirs and assigns, all the right, title,
interest and estate of the said Mary S. Thomas, which
she had in the same at the time of the execution of her
said will, and at the time of her death, as if the said
last will and testament, had appointed the said grantors
or devisees, trustees, to sell and convey, all the right
and estate of the said Mary S. Thomas, in and to said

lands; Provided, that nothing herein contained shall
be construed to prejudice the rights of any purchaser
for valuable consideration, or any bona fide creditor
whose interests or rights may have accrued since the
execution and acknowledgment of said deed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the clerk of the
circuit court for Kent county be authorised to record the
said deed, and that this act shall take effect from the
date of its passage.

AN ACT to incorporate the Curtis Greek Wharf and
and Rail Road company.

Incorporated.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That John Wilson, R. H. Archer, Tho-
mas Lloyd, John Wells, David C. Springer, James P.
Archer, R. O. Crisp, J. P. Shannon and N. J. Crisp,
and all and every other person or persons hereafter be-
coming members of the Curtis Creek Wharf and Rail
Road company in the manner hereinafter mentioned,
