CHAP. 107.

the third section of this act, to make a short entry of
the same, upon the record of appointments, or civil list.

sufficient evi-
dence in
courts.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That a certificate, in
the ordinary form, given by the Governor, under the
Great Seal of the State, to the appointment and qualifi-
cation of any such commissioner, us appearing from the
said record of appointments or civil list, shall be full
and sufficient evidence in the courts of this State, both

of law and equity, of the facts of appointment and
qualification us aforesaid.

In force.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That this act shall be
in force from and after the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 107.

9, 1852.

AN ACT to change the, division line between the
third and ninth election districts of Baltimore
County.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, it would be promotive of the conve-
nience of that portion of the voters of the third election
district of Baltimore county, residing between the Falls
turnpike road, and the Baltimore and Susquehanna
rail road, from the city limits to the first crossing of the
said roads, to have the division line between the said-
districts so changed, as to include them in the ninth
election district, Therefore,

Division line
designated.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That from and after the passage of this
act, the Baltimore and Susquehanna rail road, shall
form the division line between the third and ninth elec-
tion districts, from the city limits to the first intersection

of the above rail road, with the Falls turnpike road, and
that all residents east of the said rail road, from the city
limits northward to said intersection, shall be considered
as belonging to the ninth election district of Baltimore
county, instead of the third as heretofore.

In force.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall lake
effect from and after its passage.
