estate, by a trustee to be appointed by said decree, on
such terms and in such manner as the said judge shall
consider most advantageous under the circumstances,
and the said judge shall be, and he is further autho-
rised and empowered to direct the trustee to make such
investment of the proceeds of the sale of said real
estate, either on real or personal security, as may in
the judgment of said judge, be most advantageous for
the several parties interested in the same.

CHAP. 66.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect immediately on its passage.

CHAPTER 65.

In force.

AN ACT to substitute the Treasurer of this State in
the place of the late Commissioner of Loans, in re-
lation to the renewal of certain certificates of Stock.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That the Treasurer of this State be sub-
stituted in the place of the late Commissioner of Loans,
in order to carry into effect the provisions of an act passed
at the present session, entitled, an act to authorise the
renewal of certain certificates of stock of the State of
Maryland, therein mentioned.

SEC. 2 And he it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the day of its passage.

CHAPTER 66.

In force.

AN ACT entitled, an Act to repeal apart of the Act
entitled, an Act to authorise the Levy Court of Car-
oline County, to appoint the Trustees of the Poor
for said county, and to require the appointment of
said Trustees annually.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That so much of the act entitled, an act
to authorise the Levy Court, of Caroline county, to
appoint the trustees of the poor for said county, passed
