CHAP. 44.

AN ACT to provide for the purchase of a complete set

of the Laws of Maryland, and of the Maryland
Reports, for the office of the Clerk of the Court of
Common Pleas, for Baltimore city, and the offices

of the Clerk of the Circuit Court and Register of
of Wills, for Baltimore county.

Passed March

4, 1852.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the State Librarian be, and he is
hereby authorised and directed to purchase for the of-
fice of the clerk of the Court of Common Pleas for
Baltimore city, and the offices of the clerk of the Cir-
cuit Court and Register of Wills for Baltimore coun-
ty, each a complete set of the Laws of Maryland, and

of the Maryland Reports; and that the sum of seven
hundred and sixty-five dollars, or so much thereof
as may he required to pay for the same, be, and the

same is hereby appropriated for that purpose, and the
Treasurer is hereby authorised to pay the said sum up-
on the warrant of the Comptroller, out of any unap-
propriated money in the Treasury.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall have

effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 44.

AN ACT for the relief of the Associate Congregation

of the city of Baltimore.

4, 1852.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That the Treasurer, upon the warrant of
the Comptroller, be, and he is hereby authorised and
directed to pay out of any unappropriated money in
the treasury, to the trustees of the church of the As-
sociate Congregation of the city of Baltimore, the sum

of forty-two dollars and seventy-five cents, being a tax
paid erroneously by said trustees into the treasury,
through the late register of wills, of Baltimore city, on

a legacy from the late William Morris, of said city, to

said Associate Congregation.

Treasurer di-
rected to pay.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
