CHAP. 314.

trustees of the German Reformed Congregation of Zi-
on's Church, in Manchester, Carroll county, and they
are hereby authorised to sell their interest, (or so much
thereof as they may desire,) in Zion's Church, in Man-
chester, Carroll county, upon such terms and such
mode as they may deem most advantageous to said
congregation, and convey the same by good and suf-
ficient deed, to the purchaser or purchasers, in fee sim-
ple, or upon lease as they may see fit.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That said trustees, be,
and they are hereby authorised in purchase a lot of
ground, in or near said town of Manchester, not ex-
ceeding five acres, whereon to erect a church for the
use of the members of the German Reformed Congre-
gation at said place; and said trustees are hereby au-
thorised to do all acts necessary for the erection and
completion of said church, and hold the same by deed
for the use of the members of said church, in fee sim-
ple or by lease us they may see fit.

CHAPTER 314.

AN ACT requiring the Banks and other incorpo-
rated monied Institutions, to publish a list of De-
posits and Dividends of more than three, years stand-
ing, and remaining unclaimed, and to repeal the
act passed December session, eighteen hundred and
forty-nine, Chapter one hundred and thirty-six, on
the same subject.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That it shall be the duty of the
several banks and other incorporated institutions within
this State, which are in the habit of receiving deposits
and declaring dividends, to cause to be published in
some newspaper primed in the county in which such
bank or institution may be located, or in the city of
Baltimore, as the case may be, once a week for three
successive weeks, in the month of September next,
and annually thereafter, a list of the deposits and divi-
dends which have been of more than three years stand-
ing, and uncalled for or unclaimed, together with the
names of the parties to whose credit they stand on the
books of such bank or institutions, and their respective
amount.
