CHAPTER 269.

AN ACT to refund to John S. Ensor, former Col-
lector of State Taxes, for the eight Election District

of Baltimore County, a sum of money therein
named, being an overpayment into the Treasury,
for the years eighteen hundred and forty-five, and
eighteen hundred and forty-six.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That the Treasurer upon the warrant

of the Comptroller, is hereby authorised and directed
to pay to John S. Ensor, former collector of State taxes
for the eight election district of Baltimore county, the
sum of fifty-five dollars and forty cents, being the
amount over paid by the said Ensor into the treasury,
for the years eighteen hundred and forty five, and eigh-
teen hundred and forty-six.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 270.

In force.

AN ACT to refund to Mrs. E. J. Eldridge of Mont-
gomery County, a sum of money therein named,

being an over payment on Licenses.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That the Treasurer is authorised and
directed to pay upon the warrant of the Comptroller, to
Mrs. E. J. Eldridge, of Montgomery county, or her order,
the sum of eighteen dollars, being an over payment for
licenses to keep a millinery establishment for the years
eighteen hundred and forty-seven, eighteen hundred
and forty-eight and eighteen hundred and forty-nine.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall go into
effect from the date of its passage.
