AN ACT to change the name of Fannie K. Thomp-
son, of Anne Arundel county, to that of Eleanora
Thompson.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That from and after the passage of this act the
name of Fannie K. Thompson, of Anne Arundel
county, be, and the same is hereby changed to that of
Eleanora Thompson, and by that name she shall be
hereafter called and known, and by the same shall sue
and be sued, plead and be impleaded, in any court of
law or equity of this State, and be capable of receiving,
holding and disposing of any estate, whether real, per-
sonal or mixed.

AN ACT to establish the Western Line, of District
Number Nine, generally known as the Flinstone
District, in Allegany county.

WHEREAS, Difficulties have arisen as to the proper
interpretation of the act passed at December session, in
the year eighteen hundred and forty-nine, owing to the
imperfect description of the lines intended to be estab-
lished by said act; and whereas, it is desirable that the
said line should be described and fixed with certainty ;

Be it enacted by the. General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the western line of said district shall here-
after commence at the point of intersection of the divi-
ding line between said district and district number
seven, in said county, with the eastern line of district
number six, in said county, and shall run from thence
