AN ACT to change the name of Francis Wakeman,
Can; of Harford county, to that of Francis Carr
Smith.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That from and after the passage of this act, it
shall and may be lawful fur Francis Wakeman Carr,
of Harford county, to take and use, in lieu of his
said name, Francis Wakeman Carr, that of Francis
Carr Smith.

AN ACT to establish another grade in the Inspec-
tion of Flour in, the city of Baltimore.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That it shall be the duty of
the General Inspector of Flour in the city of Balti-
more, to cause all barrels of flour, of a superior quality
to that which is denominated and branded superfine,
and not of the quality of family, to be branded extra,
and the standard of this grade shall be procured in the
same manlier as the standard of family flour is now ob-
tained.
