AN ACT to authorise the appointment of the attend-
ing Physicians, of the Baltimore General Dispen-
sary, by the Managers thereof, and to constitute five
Managers a quorum for the transaction of business.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That hereafter the attending physicians
of the Baltimore General Dispensary, shall be appoint-
ed by the managers thereof, at such time and in such
manner as shall be provided in the bye-laws, instead of
being elected by the contributors, as required by the
fifth section of the act to incorporate said Dispensary.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That hereafter any five
of the managers of said Dispensary shall constitute a
quorum, instead of six, as required by the sixth section
of the aforesaid act.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall not
have effect unless the same be approved by a majority
of the contributors present at the next annual meeting
in June next.

AN ACT to authorise the Committee of the Presby-
terian Congregation of Buckingham Church, in
Worcester county, to dispose of certain real pro-
perty, conveyed to said Committee for the use of the
Pastor of said Congregation, and invest the pro-
ceeds in other property for said purpose.
|

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assem-
bly, by the standing or business committee, of the
Presbyterian Congregation of Buckingham Church, in
the village of Berlin, in Worcester county, that the said
congregation is desirous to sell and dispose of certain
real estate held by the said committee, for the use of the
pastor of said congregation, and known as the parson-
age, in order that they may have the proceeds of said
sale re-invested, in a properly more convenient, and
desirable as a parsonage, or place of residence for the
resident minister of the said Buckingham Church;
