1852.

now elected or that may hereafter be elected or appoint-
ed, have or are likely to become invalid or insufficient,
to demand and require such Comptroller or Treasurer,
as the case may be, forthwith to renew his bond to the
State of Maryland, with security or securities to be ap-
proved of by the Governor, in the penalty and accord-
ing to the form prescribed by this act; and in case of
neglect or refusal by any Comptroller or Treasurer now
elected, or that may hereafter be elected or appointed,
to give bond with security or securities, as aforesaid,
within twenty days after the same shall be demanded
and required by the Governor, as aforesaid, such ne-
glect or refusal shall be and it is hereby declared to be
a disqualification within the meaning of the Constitu-
tion; and the Governor is hereby required to proceed
forthwith to appoint a fit and proper person to fill the
vacancy occasioned thereby, according to the provisions

of the Constitution.

CHAP. 13.

SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That the bond of the
Comptroller and the Treasurer, when duly executed
and approved as hereinbefore provided, shall be re-
corded in the office of the clerk of the Court of Appeals,
and certified copies under seal of said court, may be
used in evidence in any court of law in this State, and
shall have the same force and effect as if the original
bond were produced and proved.

SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from its passage.

CHAPTER 13.

In force.

AN ACT to fix the number of terms and the times
for holding the same, for the Circuit Court for
Frederick county.

Passed Feb.
16, 1852.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That the Circuit court for Frederick
county shall hold two terms annually, both for com-
mon law and equity proceedings, which said terms shall
commence on the fourth Monday of February and on
the second Monday of November respectively, in each
and every year.

Hold two

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from and after the day of its passage.
