AND BE IT ENACTED, That when the said
road shall be laid out, cleared, opened and made pass-
able, the same shall forever thereafter be deemed and
taken for a public road, and shall be kept in repair in
the same manner that other public roads are kept in
said county.

terested in opening the said road shall pay the reason
able expenses for laying out, surveying and returning
a plot of the same.

An act for the relief of James Davidson John-
sen, of Worcester county.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the justices of the levy court of Wor-
cester county shall be, and they are hereby directed
and empowered, at their levy court annually, so long
as they shall see cause, to assess and levy on the assess-
able property of said county, a sum of money not ex-
ceeding thirty dollars, nor less than twenty dollars,
for the support and maintenance of James Davidson
Johnson, of said county; and that the same be col-
lected annually by the collector of said county, and
paid to such person or persons as the levy court of said
county shall or may direct.

An act for the relief of Sater T. Walker, an in-
solvent debtor, of the city of Baltimore.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the judges, or any one judge of Bal-
timore county court be, and they, or any one of them
are hereby authorised and directed to extend to Sater
T. Walker, the benefit and relief of the act of assem-
bly passed at November session eighteen hundred
and five, entitled, " An act for the relief of sundry
insolvent debtors, " and the supplements thereto, with-
out compelling him to produce the assent of two thirds,
in amount, of his creditors, and to extend and afford to
the said Sater T. Walker all the benefits, advantages
and provisions of the aforesaid act and the supplements
thereto, in the same manner, and upon the same terms
and conditions as if he had obtained the assent of two
thirds of his creditors to his release under the same
