CHAPTER 111.

A supplement to the act entitled, An act authoris-
ing the justices of the levy court of Baltimore
county to lease and exchange t lie property therein
mentioned.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the justices of the levy com t of
Baltimore county, or a majority of them be, and they
are hereby authorised and empowered to lease and
demise every third lot of the alms-house ground,
which have been laid out, and which have not been
leased by virtue of the act to which this is a supple-
ment, upon the usual terms and conditions, to any
person or persons whatever, for ninety-nine years,
renewable forever; and to make, execute and ack-
nowledge all deeds necessary for the leasing and de-
mising of the said every third lot of the said alms-
house ground, reserving and making payable the rent
issuing therefrom, to the justices of the levy court of
Baltimore county, and their successors forever, to be
applied to the use of the said county.

An act for the relief of James Cruikshanks, of
Kent county.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the judges, or any one judge of Kent
county court be, and they are hereby authorised and
directed to extend to James Cruickshanks, of Kent
county, the benefit of the act of assembly passed at
November session eighteen hundred and five, entitled,
" An act for the relief of sundry insolvent debtors. "
and the several supplements thereto, without requiring
the said James Cruickshanks to produce the assent, in
writing, of two thirds of his creditors, upon his com-
plying with the other requisites of the said act
