No. 49.

Resolved, That the printer of the state print five
hundred copies of an act entitled, A supplement to
the act entitled, An act to regulate and discipline the
militia of this state, with marginal notes, stitched in
form of octavo; and it shall be the duty of the execu-
tive of Maryland to forward as soon as possible to
each major-general, one copy; to each brigadier-gene-
ral, two copies; to each commanding officer of a regi-
ment, five copies; to each commanding officer of an
extra battalion, two copies; to each commanding offi-
cer of a troop five copies, to be distributed to the
commissioned officers of their respective regiments,
extra-battalions or troops, as the case may be. And
the treasurer of the Western Shore is hereby author-
ised to pay the expense of the same out of any unap-
propriated money in the treasury.

Resolved, That the treasurer of the Western Shore
be, and he is hereby authorised and directed to pay
to the president and trustees of the Centreville Acade-
my, in Queen Anne's county, the sum of eight hun-
dred dollars on the first Monday of October annually,
out of any unappropriated money in the treasury; and
to the trustees of Allegany county School, the sum of
three hundred dollars, on the first Monday of Octo-
ber annually, in addition to the present donation.

Resolved, That the treasurer of the Western Shore
be, and he is hereby authorised and empowered to
pay to the trustees of Washington College, the sum
of eight hundred dollars on the first day of October

treasury.

Resolved, That the treasurer of the Western Shore
be, and he is hereby directed to pay unto the president
and trustees of the Rockville Academy, in Montgom-
ery county, or their order, the sum of eight hundred

the first Monday in October thereafter annually, as a
donation to said academy.
