RESOLUTIONS,

1812.
In favor of Not-
tey Maddox.
|
Maddox and his securities on a judgment obtained
against them on account of a balance due to the state
by the said Notley Maddox as sheriff of Prince Geor-
ges county be, and they are hereby suspended until
the first day of January eighteen hundred and thirteen;
and also that the said Notley Maddox and his securi-
ties be, and they are hereby released from the pay-
ment of the nine per cent per annum of the fifteen per
cent interest, chargeable upon the principal of the bal-
ance due the state, on condition only that the said Notley
Maddox and his securities shall punctually pay to the
treasurer of the Western Shore on or before the first
day of January eighteen hundred and thirteen, the prin-
cipal of the balance due the state with interest on the
same at the rate of six per cent per annum, together
with all costs on s aid judgments; Provided, That the
judgments shall be in full force and continue, notwith-
standing the suspension directed by this resolution;
and that if the said Notley Maddox and his securities
shall fail in said payment, they shall forfeit the benefit
of this resolution, and shall be liable to be proceeded
against immediately for the whole of the said debt
and cost, and the fifteen per cent interest now payable
thereon.

In favor of Isaac
Ferryman.

No. 21.
Resolved, That the treasurer of the Western Shore
pay to Isaac Ferryman, of Harford county, or to his
order, the sum of fifty dollars as a compensation for
the care, trouble and expense of the said Isaac Perry-
man incurred by him in nursing and maintaining ne-
groes John and Charles, condemned by Queen Ann's
county court to work and labor on the public roads in
Baltimore county, and who made their escape from
Baltimore before they were delivered to the proper
officer who was authorised to receive them.

Kealey Tidings.
|
No. 22.
Resolved, That the treasurer of the Western Shore
be, and he is hereby directed to pay unto Kealey Ty-
dings, late a sergeant in the Maryland line during the
revolutionary war, or to his order, a sum of money,
annually, in quarterly payments, equal to the half pay
of a sergeant, as a further remuneration for those ser-
vices rendered his country during the American
war.
