CHAPTER 210.

1812.

An act f or the benefit of William McGraw, of
Caecil county.

Passed Jan. 7,
1812.

WHEREAS, William McGraw, of Caecil county,
emigrated to and settled in this state, and since his
emigration and settlement as aforesaid has acquired
real property therein, and his title to such property,
from his not haying been naturalized agreeably to the
laws of the United States, may be called in question
to his great detriment and injury; but who has since
became naturalized: — Therefore,

Preamble,

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the title of the real property lawfully
and fairly acquired by the aforesaid William McGraw,
whether such title be derived by gift, grant, purchase
or devise, be, and the same is hereby as amply and as
folly vested in the said William McGraw, to all intents
and purposes, as if he had been naturalized agreeably

to said laws; Provided always, that nothing in this act
contained shall in any manner defeat or affect any
right, title or claim to the said property, or any part
thereof, acquired or prosecuted by any person or per-
sons whatever, before the passage of this act

CHAPTER 211.

Proviso.

An act to alter the time of the meeting of the Gen-
eral Assembly of this State, and J or other pur-
poses.

1812.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the time of the meeting of the Gene-
ral Assembly shall be on the first Monday in Decem-
ber in each year, instead of the first Monday in No-
vember, as is now prescribed by the constitution and
form of government.

2. AND BE IT ENACTED, That the Governor
of this state shall be chosen on the second Monday
of December in each and every year, in the same man-
ner as is now prescribed by the constitution and form
