Maryland, That so much of the fourth section of the
act entitled, an act to establish a Market in Elizabeth
town in Washington county, and for the regulation of
the same, so far as it relates to the particular hour or
time to open said market for. the sale of butchers'
meats, be, and the same is hereby repealed: Provided,
That all butchers attending said market, shall coniine
themselves to the sale of what is usually called but-
chers' meats.

 

CHAPTER 29.

Passed Dec. 27,
1811.

An act to authorise and direct the administrators
of William Candler, late sheriff of Montgome-
ry county, to execute a deed therein mentioned.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, Leonard Coombs, of Montgomery
county, by petition to this General Assembly hath
set forth, that he purchased at a sheriff sale made in
Montgomery county, by William Candler, then sher-
iff, the title and estate of a certain Samuel Allison, to
a tract of land in Montgomery county, and paid the
purchase money thereof; that the said sheriff procur-
ed a deed to be written, but before the execution of
the same, he was taken ill and died, and praying that
an act may pass authorising and directing the adminis-
trators of the said William Candler to execute a deed
to him in the same manner that the said Candler could
have done in his life time: and the prayer of the peti-
tioner appearing reasonable: Therefore,

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the administrators of William Cand-
ler, late sheriff of Montgomery county., be, and they
are hereby authorised and directed to execute a deed
to the said Leonard Coombs, in the same manner as
the said sheriff was empowered to do in his life time.

An Act for the relief of William Amos, Joshua
Amos, and Aquila Amos, of Harford county.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, William Amos, Joshua Amos and
Aquila Amos, of Harford county, have represented,
by their petition to this General Assembly, that a cer-
