the said acts of Assembly had not been repealed; and for
each commission issued by virtue of this law, the clerk
of the council may receive twenty-five cents, to be paid
by the person to whom the commission is issued.

CHAPTER 183.

An act for the relief of Stephen Reyner, of Tal-
bot county.

Benefits of the
insolvent laws
granted.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the judges, or any one judge of Tal-
bot county court be, and they, or any one of them,
are hereby authorised and directed to extend to Ste-
phen Reyner, the benefit and relief of the act of as-
sembly passed at November session eighteen hundred
and five, entitled, An act for the relief of sundry in-
solvent debtors, and the supplements, thereto, without
compelling him to produce the assent in writing, of so
many of his creditors, as have due to them the amount
of two thirds of the debts due by him at the time of
his application for the benefit of this act, and to ex-
tend ana1 afford to the said Stephen Reyner, all the
benefits, advantages and provisions of the aforesaid
act and the supplements thereto, in the same manner,
and upon the same terms and conditions, as if he had
obtained the assent of two thirds of his creditors to
Ms release under the same.

An act f or the relief of Aquila Miles, of Har-
ford county.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, Aquila Miles, of Harford county,
hath set forth by his petition to this General Assembly,
that a certain road in said county authorised to be
opened by an act of the General Assembly passed al
November session eighteen hundred and ten, was laid
out through his land to his great injury; and consider-
ing the damages allowed him by the commissioners
inadequate to the injury which he lias sustained, have
prayed that a law may pass authorising him to sum-
mon a jury to ascertain said damages, and the prayer
appearing reasonable: — Therefore,

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the said Aquila Miles be, and he is
hereby authorised to apply to some justice of the
