satisfactory proof to the said court, at the time of such
settlement, of the actual and bona fide expenditure
thereof, by him as aforesaid, and also satisfy said court
that it will be for the benefit and advantage of said
minors, that said improvements be erected.

An act authorising the Commissioners of Cecil county
to cause a re-assessment of the real estate, of Samuel
Hollingsworth of said county, to be made by such
assessor as they may appoint.

Re-assessment
authorised.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners of Cecil county, be and they
are hereby authorised and directed to appoint an as-
sessor to re-value the real estate of Samuel Hollings-
worth, of said county, who shall re-assess the same,
and make return of his valuation to the commission-
ers of said county, and the taxes hereafter to be levied,
on the real estate of said Samuel Hollingsworth, shall

be based on such re-valuation; provided however, the
said commissioners shall confirm the return of the said
assessor, and the said Samuel Hollingsworth shall
defray the expenses incident on such re-assessment of
his real estate, as aforesaid.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Thomas Perry, John M. Buch-
anan, John A. Graham, J. Henry Weld, Thomas J.
McKaig, Joseph H. Leecher, J. R. Bingham, John
Witt, George Ross Forward, and Daniel Lessley, be
and they are hereby appointed commissioners, under
the direction of a majority of whom, any one of them
may receive subscriptions to the capital stock of the
Wellersburg and Jennings Run Rail Road Company,
