An act to repeal part of an act passed December Ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and forty-seven.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the first section of the act passed at December
session, eighteen hundred and forty-seven, chapter
one hundred and seventy-seven, be and the same is
hereby repealed.

Repealed.

CHAPTER 465.
An act to make valid a Deed therein mentioned.
|

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General As-
sembly, that a certain David C. Newcomer, and
Virginia C. Newcomer, his wife, did, on the twenty-
eighth day of July, eighteen hundred and forty-seven,
execute and acknowledge a deed to a certain Freder-
ick Seenar, for a certain parcel of land; and whereas,
the stamp lax was not paid within the time prescribed
by the laws of this State, but has since been paid —
Therefore,

Preamble.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the said deed be and the same is hereby declared
to be as effectual and valid in law and equity, as if the
stamp had been paid within the time mentioned in
the law for that purpose.
