be and they are hereby authorised and empowered to
allow and provide payment for the bill of expenses
incurred in holding an inquest over the body of Eliza
McDonale, in said county, on the seventh of Septem-
ber, eighteen hundred and forty-six, before Charles
Benting, a justice of the peace for said county, and
coffin furnished for the said deceased.

CHAPTER 59.

CHAP. 60.

An act to authorize the erection of a wharf at the Prize
House Landing, at the mouth of Buck Creek, in
Sassafras Neck, Cecil county.

Passed Feb. 2,
1850.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That John T. Veazey, John B. Hays, James Price,
John V. Price, Jeremiah C. Price, James Morgan,
Francis King, Thomas Price, C. H. Morgan, Thomas
D. Ward, James H. Benson, William Knight, and
John Wroth, or any number of the said persons, be
and they are hereby authorized to erect a wharf at
the Prize House Landing, at the mouth of Back Creek,
in Sassafras Neck, Cecil county, of such dimensions
as to enable vessels or steam boats to lay alongside
thereof, and in every way, as may in their judgment
suit the purposes of trade, and soforth, and the said
wharf, when so erected, shall be for the use and ac-
commodation of the neighborhood, as a public land-
ing.

CHAPTER 60.

To erect wharf.

A supplement to an act defining the powers of the
Mayor and Commissioners of Hagers City, passed
at December Session, eighteen hundred and forty-
seven, chapter one hundred and ninety -eight.

Passed Feb. 4,
1850.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That from and after the passage of this
act, all bye-laws and ordinances, of the Mayor, and
