SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That nothing in this act
shall be construed to authorise this corporation to issue
any note, token, or other device, as a circulating me-
dium, and the legislature reserves the right to alter
and repeal this act at pleasure.

Banking forbid.

An act entitled, an act to divorce John Workman, of

Allegany county from his wife Sarah Workman.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

That John Workman, of Allegany county, be and he
is hereby divorced from his wife, Sarah Workman, a
vinculo matrimonii.

CHAPTER 328.

Divorced.

An act supplement to the several acts relating to the
powers and duties of the Board of Primary Educa-
tion, of Worcester County.

Passed Mar. 6,
1850.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the board of primary education, of
Worcester county, shall as soon as practicable, after the
passage of this act, lay off said county into four general
divisions, or districts, in such manner as they may deem
most expedient, and appoint one of their own body, for
each of said divisions, whose duly it shall be to proceed
to ascertain the number of while children in their re-
spective divisions, over, four years of age and under six-
teen years of age, if females, and under twenty-one
years of age, if males, who are, in their opinion, proper
recipients of the charity school fund of said county, and
report the number of all such children, together with the
names of the parents and guardians of such children, to
said board of primary education, on or before the second
Tuesday of September, eighteen hundred, and fifty,
which reports, respectively; shall designate the number
of all such children, together with the names of the pa-
rents and guardians of such children, in each school dis-
