SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That all the provisions
of the act to which this is a supplement, and of the
various supplements thereto, which are inconsistent
with the provisions of this act, be and the same are
hereby repealed.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from its passage.

CHAPTER 47.

An act to authorise the Levy Court of Frederick Coun-
ty, in their discretion, to levy a sum of money to
build a Bridge over Catoctin Creek, on the Public
Road leading from Fredericktown, in said county,
to Greencastle, Pennsylvania.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the judges of the levy court of
Frederick county, be and they are hereby authorised
and empowered, in their discretion, to levy a sum of
money, not exceeding six hundred dollars, on the as-
sessable property in said county, to be paid in two an-
nual instalments, of three hundred dollars each, for the
purpose of building a bridge over Catoctin creek, on
the public road leading from Fredericktown, in said
county, to Greencastle, Pennsylvania.

To contract.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the levy court afore-
said, be and the same is hereby authorised to contract
with any person or persons to build said bridge, and are
required to take bond or bonds, with sufficient security,
from any contractor or contractors, for the faithful per-
formance of his or their contracts, in the usual form.
