Limitation of certain Actions, for avoiding Suits
at Law.

tion suspended.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland
That in all cases where any person may die indebted,
and where his or her interest, in real estate may be liable
to be proceeded against for the payment of his or her
debts, by reason of the insufficiency of his or her per-
sonal estate, the operation of the act of limitation, both,
at. law and in equity, shall be suspended in relation to
the heirs and devisees of such debtor, for the period of
eighteen months from the death of the testator or intes-
tate.

An act providing for the building of a Wharf, in
Dorchester County.
|

To erect wharf.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Hugh Jenkins, William McCann,
and John D. Turner, shall have and exercise the same
power to make and construct a wharf, from the north-
eastern terminus of Commerce street, in the town of
Cambridge, Dorchester county, out into navigable wa-
ters of Great. Choptank river, that persons owning lands
in fee simple in this State bordering upon navigable
streams now have, under an act of the General Assem-
bly, passed at December session, eighteen hundred and
thirty-five, chapter one hundred and sixty-eight, enti-
tled, an act to authorise and empower persons owning
real estate on any of the navigable waters of this State,
to construct wharves thereon, and that the said wharf
when constructed shall be the property and estate of the
said Hugh Jenkins, William McCann, and John D.
Turner, and enure to their benefit, and their heirs and
assigns forever.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Hugh
Jenkins, William McCann, and John D. Turner, shall
have and exercise the right to make, build and construct
upon any portion of said wharf that they may select,
a house or depot for the accommodation of the public,
