An act entitled, an act to divorce Elmira M. Rouse,
of the City of Baltimore, from her husband Philip
Rouse.
|

Divorced.
|
Be it enacted by the Genera Assembly of Maryland,
That Elmira M. Rouse, of the city of Baltimore, be
and she is hereby divorced from her husband, Philip
Rouse, a vinculo matrimonii.

An act to make valid a deed from John H. M. Wallis
and wife, to Francis L. Wallis.
|
|
|
Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, it is represented to the General Assembly
of Maryland, that John H. M. Wallis and wife, of the
State of Louisiana, by deed bearing date the twenty-
seventh day of March, one thousand eight hundred and
forty-nine, deeded to Francis L. Wallis, of Kent coun-
ty Maryland, a certain tract of land lying and being
in said county, and it is further represented, that the
said deed was made executed in accordance with the
laws of Louisiana, but does not agree with the laws of
Maryland regulating the passing of titles to real estate—

Made valid.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the clerk of Kent county court, be and he is
hereby authorised and required to record a copy of the
said deed authenticated, according to the laws of this
State, in any book kept for the purpose of recording
deeds in said county, and that the said deed when so
recorded shall be as valid to all intents and purposes
as if the same had been executed, acknowledged, and
recorded, according to the laws of this State.
