LAWS OF MARYLAND.

CHAP. 180.

Liberty Plank or Turnpike Road Company, at which
election, and at all subsequent meetings and elections
of the stockholders, each stockholder shall be en-
titled to one vole for every share held by him, her, or
it not exceeding twenty-five.

Commissioners
of Baltimore
co., may con-
tinue appropri-
ation.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the commissioners
for Baltimore county be and they are hereby autho-
rised, in their discretion, to continue the appropria-
tions for the repairs of that part of the said Liberty
road hereby authorised to he turnpiked for five years,
when all appropriations shall cease to be made on said
Liberty road, and the same shall be discontinued as a
county road.

Repealed.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That so much of the
act to which this is a supplement, which is repugnant
to, or inconsistent with the provisions of this act, bo
and the same is hereby repealed.

Right reserved.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the Legislature
hereby reserves to itself the right to amend, alter, or
repeal this act of incorporation at pleasure.

CHAPTER 180.

In act to Incorporate the Methodist Episcopal Church,
at Salisbury, in Worcester county.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, application hath been made to this Gene-
ral Assembly, for an act of incorporation in behalf of the
Methodist Episcopal church, at Salisbury, in Worcester
county, which may enable the said church to manage,
with convenience, her temporal concerns, and to make
valid the acts and proceedings of certain members of
said church.

Incorporated,

&c.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That David Vance, Benjamin I.
Jones, Samuel B. D. Jones, Josephus Humphreys,
Hugh Jackson, Noah Rider, and William Harris, and
their successors, to be elected as hereinafter mentioned,
be and are hereby created and declared a body corpo-
rate, by the name and style of the Stewards of the Me-
thodist Episcopal Church of Salisbury Circuit, and by
the said name shall have succession, and shall be able
to sue or be sued, plead or be impleaded before any.
court of law or equity, judge or justice, of this State, or
elsewhere, and to make and have a common seal, and
