CHAP. 169.

An act for the relief of Theodore Hodgkin, executor of
Samuel S. Hodgkin, late Register of Wills of Cal-
vert county.

Passed Feb. 28,
1850.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Mary/and, That Theodore Hodgkin, executor of
Samuel S. Hodgkin, late Register of Wills of Calvert
county, be and he is hereby authorised to collect all re-
tained fees due to the late Samuel S. Hodgkin, in virtue
of his office as Register of Wills of Calvert county, and
the said Theodore Hodgkin is hereby empowered to
make collections of all such fees in the same manner as
the said Samuel S. Hodgkin would have been as Re-
gister of Wills of Calvert county.

Time allowed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Theodore
Hodgkin, before he proceeds to execute for any such,
fees so retained by the said S. S. Hodgkin, Register of
Wills of Calvert county, shall present to each indebted
individual, at least thirty days before he proceeds to ex-
ecute a bill of the same, and if such individual or indi-
viduals shall make oath before a justice of the peace of
Calvert county, that he, she or they had paid or settled
such retained fees-bills with the late S. S. Hodgkin, his
deputy or agent, then such oath shall be a full get off
to, and for ever bar the collection of such bill.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall con
tinue and be in force until the first day of January,
eighteen hundred and fifty-one.
