CHAPTER 157.

CHAP. 158.

An act authorising the commissioners of Worcester
county, to sell certain School Lots therein mention-
ed.

Passed Feb. 26,
1850.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That the commissioners of Worcester
county, be and they are hereby authorised and empow-
ered to sell and dispose of, to any person or persons, and
upon such terms as they may deem advisable, the lot
of ground purchased by said commissioners, for a school
lot, from Benjamin Blades, in school district, number
twenty-seven, the lot of ground purchased by said com-
missioners for a school lot, of Moses Payne, in school
district, number twenty-eight, and the lot or lots of
ground owned by said commissioners as school lots, in
school district, number twelve and seventeen, in Wor-
cester county, or cither of said lots.

Authority giv-
en to sell.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That, the commissioners
aforesaid, when they shall have sold the lots aforesaid,
or either of them, may and they are hereby authorised
and required to appoint some one of their own body, or
any other person or persons they may deem advisable,
to execute, acknowledge and deliver a deed or deeds to
the purchaser or purchasers of said lots, or either of
them, conveying to him, her or them, all the interest of
the said commissioners, in and to said lots, or either of
them; and said deed or deeds, when executed, ac-
knowledged and recorded as other deeds are now re-
quired by law to be, shall be good and effectual to con-
vey all the interest of the said commissioners, in and to
said lots, or either of them.

To give deed.

An act to Incorporate the Baltimore Copper Smelting
Company.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That David Keener, John H. Keene,
George Brown, Isaac Tyson, junior, William McCon-
key, Richard B. Fitzgerald, Galloway Cheston, and
such other persons as with them, or in their place, shall
