CHAP. 156.

prevent any filth, litter, or obstruction whatever, from
being thrown or left in the streets of said town, by
any person or persons whatever, or by their permis-
sion or direction.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the said commis-
sioners, when it shall be deemed expedient, shall be
empowered to expend the limits of said town, so as to
take into those portions not comprised within the pre-
sent limits.

An act to authorise the Commissioners of Worcester
county, to appropriate a sum of money out of the
School Fund of said county.
|

Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, by an error in the distribution of the
school fund of Worcester county, made under the dis-
tribution of eighteen hundred and forty-seven, certain
school districts in said county, received only a part of
the amount to which they were entitled, and a balance
yet remains due to them, for the payment of which the
board of primary education of said county are without
funds, and the county commissioners of said county, the
guardians of the school fund, are without authority in
the premises — Wherefore,

to appropriate.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That after the passage of this act, the commissioners of
Worcester county, be and hereby are authorised and
empowered out of the school funds of said county to appro-
priate such sum of money as they may deem meet and
proper, not exceeding four hundred dollars, to the pay-
ment of said claims, to be applied and distributed in the
usual manner, under the direction of the primary board
of education of said county.
