CHAP. 20.

eral acts of assembly, passed for the relief of insolvent
debtors; provided, that the said Joseph W. Walker,
shall in all other respects comply with the requisitions
of said acts of assembly, notwithstanding the application
of the said Joseph W. Walker, for the benefit of the in-
solvent laws within the last two years.

CHAPTER 20.

Passed Jan. 24,
1850.

An act to repeal certain acts of assembly relating to the
Commissioners of Washington county, and for other
purposes.

Repealed.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That from and after the passage of
this act, the act passed at December session, eighteen
hundred and forty-five, chapter one hundred and eigh-
ty-five, entitled, an act supplemental to an act of the
present session of the General Assembly, changing the
mode of electing the commissioners of Washington
county, and so much of the second section of the act
passed at December session eighteen hundred and thir-
ty-four, chapter one hundred and sixteen, entitled, an
act to provide for the electing of Commissioners of Wash-
ington County, and prescribing their powers and duties,
as requites said commissioners to appoint three persons
of their own body to act as examiners in road cases, and
an act passed at December session, eighteen hundred and
forty-four, chapter two hundred and eighty-five, enti-
tled, an act to regulate the publication of the proceed-
ings of the commissioners of Washington county, be and
the same are hereby repealed.

Revived.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the provisions of
the first section of the act passed at December session,
eighteen hundred and thirty, chapter seventy-five, shall,
from and after the passage of this act, and the same are
hereby declared to be revived and in force as effectually
as if said section had not been heretofore repealed.

Declared valid.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That all road cases de-
cided by the said commissioners since the passage of the
act of eighteen hundred and forty-five, chapter one hun-
dred and eighty-five, be and the same are hereby de-
clared as valid, as if the requirements of said act had
been literally pursued.
